As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and on-foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist with access points and badge activity as needed. This is a driving post, so a valid driveru2019s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required. What You'll Do: + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location. + Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when needed. + Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter, including checks of doors, gates, and restricted-access points to help identify irregular activity. + Monitor access control points and utility-related work areas, verifying credentials and/or authorizations as required by site procedures. + Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate noteworthy conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: + A valid driveru2019s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. + A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred. + Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driveru2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
