Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: Torrance, CA Pay Range: $33 Shift: 2nd shift 2 pm - 1030 pm What's the Job? + Troubleshoots and diagnoses all maintenance failures to ensure smooth plant operations. + Uses assembly drawings, P&IDs, and manuals to tune equipment for optimal performance, applying electrical and logic principles to resolve issues. + Performs basic plumbing, metalworking, and general facilities maintenance as needed. + Works with operating devices such as gauges, RTDs, pressure transmitters, I/Ps, and vortex flow meters. + Trains new team members on maintenance skills and supports operational troubleshooting to assist production. What's Needed? + Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment. + Knowledge of assembly drawings, P&IDs, and manuals for equipment tuning. + Basic understanding of plumbing, metalworking, and facilities maintenance. + Experience working with operating devices such as gauges, RTDs, and flow meters. + Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
