Position Summary As a pharmacy technician you will be responsible for many aspects of the mail order prescription process. You may be assigned to work all areas of the dispensing pharmacy including product selection, packing and shipping. Tech L1, Dispensing team members are expected to perform any of the following functions: manual filling and packing, fill medications for automated machines, Quality Sampling of medications from automated machine, packing orders using automated packing machinery. You may be asked to support the shipping handler functions such as manually metering packages and placement of packages to be sorted for shipment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you must possess basic computer proficiency and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. This position requires standing throughout the entire shift. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction across all levels of staff. Success in this role also depends on demonstrating a high degree of reliability, professionalism, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset. We're looking for applicants to be available for the shift listed below: + Sunday 2pm to 12:30am, + Monday , Thursday and Friday - 3pm to 1:30am Required Qualification + Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician License + Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification validated by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or ExCPT validated by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required for all technicians licensed after December 31st, 2007 + Newly licensed technicians have 2 years from license effective date to obtain their CPhT and become licensed as a registered certified pharmacy technician + License Requirement: must complete IL Certification Requirements within 2 years from the dateyour licensewas issued, which includes: 1) Passing theCPhTexam, and 2) Backend Technician Training Program + Responsibility ofmaintaininglicensure and compliance training + Flexibility to perform duties across multiple functional areas + Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to: + Read andcomprehendEnglish + Perform basic math (including dosage and daysu2019 supply calculations) Physical ability to: + Stand for extended periods + Reach, twist, bend, stoop, walk, andlift upto 40lbs. + Detailfocused and task orientated + Regular and predictable attendance + Colleague willbe requiredto work mandatory overtime/extended work week when needed + Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new processes, technologies, and workflow changes u200b Preferred Qualifications + Formal Pharmacy Technician trainingor Pharmacy Tech experience + Experience working in a Mail Order Pharmacy + Certified Pharmacy Technician prior to 2024 Education + Verifiable high school diploma or GEDrequired Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $31.30 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
