United by purpose and leveraging a data-driven approach, our team empowers PitchBook to meet the speed of private capital, helping customers move forward with conviction.The Multimedia Production Assistant is part of an internal, global creative team of 30, including producers, designers, copywriters, editors, project managers, ACDs, and CDs. The role supports video projects and the execution of live events for both client-facing and internal audiences. Duties may also include technical setups, studio organization, script supervision, photography, camera operation, teleprompter operation, video editing, sourcing music, and sound mixing, depending on the selected candidate's existing skill set and interests.Primary Job Responsibilities:Support live events, livestreams, and video shoots by setting up or operating equipment, including cameras, audio mixers, speakers, microphones, teleprompters, backdrops, green screens, and lightingSupport live events, livestreams, and video shoots by assisting with blocking, sound checks, and communication with talentSupport Multimedia Team productions by sourcing music, sourcing graphics, creating captions, logging footage, and providing script supervisionHelp maintain and organize the studioSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviorsParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requestedSkills and Qualifications:Experience in multimedia production preferredBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredStrong communication skills and a growth mindsetFamiliarity with camera and lighting setups for interviewsFamiliarity with Adobe PremiereFamiliarity with Adobe Creative Suite apps (After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plusFamiliarity with livestreaming software (vMix, Wirecast, OBS) is a plusExperience with still photography is a plusExperience with videography is a plusFamiliarity with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelMust be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureBenefits + Compensation at PitchBook:Physical HealthComprehensive health benefitsAdditional medical wellness incentivesSTD, LTD, AD&D, and life insuranceEmotional HealthPaid sabbatical program after four yearsPaid family and paternity leaveAnnual educational stipendAbility to apply for tuition reimbursement
