Division:Columbus MainProject Location(s):Columbus, OH 43215 USAMinimum Years Experience:Travel Involved:Job Type:RegularJob Classification:InternEducation:Job Family:SourceBlueCompensation:Intern Non-ExemptPosition Description:Assist with and learn coordination and distribution of information for SourceBlue products and services, work across entire business team.Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:Assist and support Supply Chain heat mapping, vendor database, resiliency systems, equipment tracking, and other duties to support development of business products and services.Assist closeout process and preparation of final records for projects (e.g., Requests for Information (RFIs), closeout records, warranties, as-builts, spare parts) and evaluate information to compliance with contract documents.Assist with data entry to update and maintain master procurement data (e.g., pricing, contracts, delivery schedules).Assist with preparation and analysis of business reports and estimates for vendor changes.Visit project sites to observe quality and placement of products.Visit manufacturers' factories to observe Factory Witness Tests and learn about product development and specifications.Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:Enrolled in college or university offering accredited degree program; recommended majors include, and not limited to Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or other related degree program, or with at least 2 years of completed education, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceMust be willing to work assigned hours, requiredEfficient use of work hours with ability to ask questions, request prioritization of responsibilities, and complete tasks in timely mannerPassionate and willing to learn about overall company, business operations, culture, and core valuesDemonstrate interpersonal skills including student leadership, volunteerism, or other community involvementAssume personal and professional responsibilities for own actions and activitiesProactive and eager to tackle new projects and ideas, flexible and adaptable to work assignmentAble to work independently, with management oversight, and in team environmentExceptional organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to document and manage accurate and timely informationApply active listening skills with professional and clear verbal and written communicationLimited travel as neededPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
