JOB REQUIREMENTS: Production Planner The Production Planner isresponsible for managing production schedules and coordinate materialand resource planning for the Prototype Department. This role requiresbalancing multiple short-run, fast-turnaround projects while workingclosely with engineering, procurement, production and quality teams tomeet customer expectations and internal deadlines. StandardEssential Functions Develop and maintain detailed production schedulesfor prototype builds, ensuring on-time delivery in alignment withcustomer requirements and engineering timelines. Coordinate and trackdaily production activities to meet build schedules and customerdelivery timelines. Partner with program management, purchasing,engineering, and quality to ensure timely availability of components,completion of WIP and control of supporting documentation. Create andmaintain production travelers, work orders, and job packets for builds.Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) on the production floor and providestatus updates to internal stakeholders, including program managementand engineering. Communicate build priorities and job changes directlyto production and leadership. Ensure ERP/MRP systems are updatedaccurately with production status, job completions, material usage, andinventory adjustments. Support implementation and tracking ofengineering change orders (ECOs), ensuring all affected documentation isproperly updated and distributed. Collaborate with quality andengineering teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements andapplicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC-A-610). Assist in trackingproduction metrics, including on-time delivery (OTD), yield, rework, andthroughput.
