Weu2019relooking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Project Manager in the Bronx, NY who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running like they should. In this role, youu2019ll lead coordination of multiple various construction projects in an occupied healthcare facility. Youu2019ll provide oversight of construction activities on a major multi-phase hospital renovation project. Youu2019ll monitor contractor adherence to safety plans, facility safety, and ICRA requirements. Youu2019ll coordinate ongoing work with the facility engineering team daily and track progress of work for adherence to contractor schedules. You will be responsible to drive schedule, mitigate risks, and resolve site issues to keep contractors progressing to meet schedule requirements.Youu2019ll review monthly contractor invoices and provide recommendations for payment as well as review contractor forecasts and monthly schedule updates and provide feedback. Youu2019ll review contractoru2019s change orders and provide recommendations for justification and cost and monitor project documentation including submittals, RFIs, bulletins, contract changes, and invoices. Most importantly, youu2019ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your internal and external team and the surrounding environment. As a passionate leader, youu2019ll take ownership of the project and leverage your people management skills to safely deliver quality projects, on schedule and within budget.Your role keeps our company connected and weu2019ll support you with what you need to be successful. u2022 Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering or Construction Managementu2022 10-15+ yearsu2019 experience as a Construction Manager with responsibility for three (3) or more phases of construction namely pre-design, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction phasesu2022 Strong construction contract knowledge and ability to mitigate risku2022 Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications with strong working knowledge of ICRA and ILSM standards, building codes, NFPA, FGI Guidelines and OSHA requirementsu2022 Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, planning, delegation, coaching, communication (verbal, written and interpersonal)u2022 MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skillsIdeally, youu2019ll also have:u2022 5+ yearsu2019 experience in healthcare construction/rehabilitation projectsu2022 Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE) credential#EastPMCM #NorthPMCM #LI-SD2Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
