Loving and thoughtful first time parents are seeking a full-time nanny/housekeeper. This can be a live-in or out role and the schedule will be Monday through Friday 8am-8pm.The position leans more towarda nanny role with light housekeeping as the parents have a housekeeper come in to do a deep clean a couple of times each week.The nanny side of the position will typically be sole charge with both parents working either from home or in the office, but the candidate should be open for the parents to dip in and out during the day.The couple believe in professionalism, kindness, laughter and crystal clear communication — and deeply value caregivers who bring expertise, calm, and empathy to their child. They are both typically busy professionals & their home is organized, supportive, and welcoming — they have a great support network with big families that are around often. They will treat their team as trusted partners and aim to create a positive, well-structured experience for everyone involved.Nanny responsibilities include:Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all timesOffer advice and guidance to the parents when neededHelp clean and sterilize bottles when usedMaintain a clean and tidy nurseryGuide the parents when weaning and prepare healthy nutritious mealsMaintaining and adjusting sleep and feeding routines/schedules as the baby growsTravel with the family, when requiredOrganize playdates, and activities when appropriateEncourage the baby to reach his developmental milestonesSchedule age appropriate activities/classesHousekeeping responsibilities:Light housekeeping All laundryCooking for the familyEmpty and load the dishwasherTake in any deliveriesBe friendly, flexible, with a positive demeanor and a good sense of humorBe proactive, logical, with good intuitionHave strong referencesMust have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working with children of this age groupThe couple would like for the candidate to travel with themTravel ready passportFluent English speakingTo want longevity in a roleMust be energetic as the family have a four-storey homeHave high empathy, be a self starter, and proactive$40/hr +10 PTO5 Sick daysFederal holidaysMetro card (for live-out only)
