We are seeking aFlatbed Driver for County Materials Corporation located in Appleton, WI.About the position: Competitive hourly pay. Majority of freight hauledis for our company, minimal wait time. Home every night. Training inflatbed procedures and oversized loads available. Job Duties:Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients. Performpre-trip, post-trip, and in route inspections on all equipment,including securement devices. Properly secure load prior to transportfollowing DOT regulations. Operate tractor trailer combinations.Transport freight while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizingproper PPE. Unload transported material utilizing approved methods.Ensure cleanliness and good operating condition for assigned tractor.Receive work assignments and report back on job completion. Useconsistent communicate with dispatch. Maintain customer relations byacting in a professional, courteous manner. Work Environment: Work inoutdoor weather conditions. Work near moving machinery and equipmentWork alongside moving traffic on roads. Physical Requirements: Sitting.Carrying / Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds. Standing / Walking / Climbing.Squatting / Crouching / Kneeling / Bending. Pushing / Pulling / ReachingAbove Shoulder. Experience & Qualifications: Must hold a valid Class ACDL prior to hire. Minimum of 2 years Class A CDL driving experiencerequired.
