Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Fort Myers, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing essential accounting tasks, including processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate data entry. This position requires proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong ability to maintain organized financial records. Responsibilities: u2022 Process invoices promptly and accurately to ensure timely payments. u2022 Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including reconciliations. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks software to maintain financial records and perform accounting tasks. u2022 Enter and update financial data with a high level of precision. u2022 Prepare and review financial documents for accuracy and completeness. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve accounting issues. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records. u2022 Generate reports to assist with financial analysis and decision-making. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. u2022 Assist with other accounting duties as needed to support the team. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. u2022 Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks. u2022 Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. u2022 Ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently. u2022 Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills. u2022 Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members. u2022 Familiarity with invoice processing and related procedures.
