Kelly is hiring a Production/Process Equipment Operator II for a 12 -month Contract role with one of our prestigious clients based out in 1500 John Tipton Blvd Pennsauken, NJ 08110 Job Title: Production/Process Equipment Operator II Location: 1500 John Tipton Blvd Pennsauken, NJ 08110 Employment Type: 12-month contract Pay rate: $22/hr. Shift Monday through Thursday: 7 AM u2013 5 PM Qualifications: u2022 A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required. u2022 A valid US driveru2019s license is required. u2022 A minimum of 1-2 yearsu2019 manufacturing/production, warehouse, technician, logistic/military experience is preferred. u2022 Willing and able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice is required. u2022 Willing and able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as steel toes, hardhat, protective eyewear, and flame-retardant clothing. u2022 Willing and able to lift and move objects that weigh up to 50 lbs. u2022 Willing and able to perform repetitive movement; including climbing several flights of stairs multiple times per day, stand, stoop, and bend. u2022 Must have basic math skills. u2022 Must be able to read a tape measure. u2022 Must be able to keep accurate written records and maintain good communication skills. u2022 Must have attention to detail. u2022 Must be flexible, adaptable, dependable, reliable, and must be able to work in a team environment. u2022 Prior experience performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment is preferred. Responsibilities: The site is a key manufacturing facility for DuPontu2019s Shelter Business. Production Operators perform required tasks associated with the safe and efficient operation of the production line, including the use of equipment to produce high quality products in a timely manner. Production Operators are expected to work independently and on teams with minimal supervision. This position requires strong communication skills in both written and oral form including following operating procedures. Production Operators will need to follow instructions, troubleshoot and solve problems, as well as exhibit strong work ethic and reliability. Core Responsibilities: u2022 Follow all safety requirements. u2022 Assess the finished product to ensure it meets quality requirements. u2022 Operates assigned equipment or areas of the Plant and performs operations related activities. u2022 Understand and follow operating discipline principles, procedures, and practices without deviation. u2022 Monitor, collect, and input plant metrics to identify opportunities for plant optimization. u2022 Use process knowledge and skills to make improvements in plant performance and Operating Discipline. u2022 Perform process equipment troubleshooting, minor repairs, improvements, and preventative maintenance. u2022 Inspect, operate, and maintain a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. u2022 Coach and train others on plant operations. u2022 Maintain an organized and clean Production area. u2022 Various other tasks as assigned by supervision are require as a part of the daily routine to maintain safe operation and area standards (i.e. general housekeeping, etc.).
