In this role, you will design, build, test, and maintain software solutions that support a scalable, cloudbased healthcare platform used by providers and care teams nationwide.You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into reliable, highquality software. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building modern applications, collaborating in crossfunctional teams, and continuously improving how software is delivered.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and supportCollaborate with Product and Design partners to understand requirements and deliver working solutionsBuild and maintain scalable, cloudbased services and userfacing applicationsWrite clean, maintainable, and welltested code following established engineering standardsParticipate in peer code reviews and contribute to shared engineering best practicesTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues within owned componentsContribute to improving system reliability, performance, security, and maintainabilityWork effectively within an agile, teambased development environmentMinimum Qualifications3+ years of professional software development experience and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experienceRequired QualificationsExperience with one or more modern programming languages or frameworksFamiliarity with building or consuming APIs and servicesExperience working in a teambased, collaborative development environmentAbility to learn new technologies and apply feedback to improve technical skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience developing cloudbased applications (Azure experience is a plus)Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React) or backend service developmentFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practicesExperience working with eventdriven or distributed systemsInterest in healthcare, platform engineering, or largescale systemsExperience deliveringAI-enabled capabilitiesand automated processesin production environments.We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
