Job Description NBC Universal is looking to bring on an experienced AV Systems Engineer to join our AV Systems Engineering Team based onsite 5 days per week at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. This is a true engineering role (non-operational) focused on design, advanced configuration, standardization, and lifecycle support of enterprise AV and collaboration environments. You will be partnering closely with internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable meeting and collaboration experiences. Key responsibilities include: u2022u2003Engineer, configure, and support integrated AV and video collaboration systems across enterprise conference rooms and collaboration spaces. u2022u2003Own advanced system configuration and troubleshooting across a multi-vendor ecosystem including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco, Crestron, Logitech, and Q-SYS. u2022u2003Provide engineering-level support for complex incidents and recurring issues, including root cause analysis and preventative improvements. u2022u2003Develop and maintain AV engineering standards: room baselines, configuration templates, validation checklists, and installation guidelines to drive consistency and scalability. u2022u2003Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, network, facilities, vendors/integrators) to ensure systems are designed and implemented to meet performance, reliability, and user experience expectations. u2022u2003Support the full AV lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design support, configuration, commissioning, documentation, and continuous improvement. u2022u2003Evaluate and recommend enhancements to AV/UC platforms, staying current on collaboration and AV industry trends and best practices.
