JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Brown and Caldwell (BC) is seeking aDirector to manage a portfolio of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)Design Partner Projects in our Municipal Markets in the water treatment,wastewater treatment, water reuse treatment, linear infrastructure, andheavy civil areas. The Design Partner's goal is to ensure that allprojects within their portfolio meet established key performanceindicators and metrics. Design Partner Projects are projects where BC isin the design engineer of record role or design consultant role oncollaborative delivery projects. Characteristics of the successfulcandidate include the proven ability to manage a portfolio of projectsin multiple Municipal Markets, maintain, leverage and expand BC'sexceptional client relationships, align with local and nationalresources, and collaborate with both contractor partner and BC teams.The candidate shall have extensive project collaborative deliveryexperience to be able to assist in developing and implementing asuccessful collaborative delivery design project management plan, assessdesign project health, and assist in the development of a recovery plan.Detailed Description: The key objectives of the Design Partner include:Provide Project Pursuit Teams support in contract/commercial assessmentand negotiation, risk analysis, scope of work development, level ofeffort development, pricing, and design schedule development andintegration into the contractor project schedule. Partner with IPDProject Development Leads during project pursuit phases. Provide ProjectDelivery Teams guidance to support change management, risk management,and design quality driving successful project outcomes in alignment withBC Project Delivery fundamentals. Partner with Business Unit (BU)Leadership, Market Area Directors and Market Sector Leaders to ensurethe IPD Enterprise and BU Delivery Teams meet our Contractor Partner (orBCC if Prime) and Client commitments. Supporting BU Project Pursuit andDelivery Teams and reinforcing adherence to the Chief Engineer'sapplication of BC quality policy and use of design standards and bestpractices uniformly across the company. Partner with BU Area Leaders andLocal Leaders to determine needs for resource capabilities, specialtydelivery resources as needed, and delivery capacity for upcoming IPDprojects. Assist BU Area Leaders and Local Leaders to achieveanticipated performance metrics on Design Partner Portfolio Projects,directly aligned with P&L and operational goals (ex-sales, net revenue(NR) burn, and margin) of the respective Areas.
