*Description** **JOB SUMMARY** We are seeking dependable and detail-orientated **Janitors** to support daily operations at a remote camp on the North Slope of Alaska. The role is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary common areas, offices, living quarters, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas; performing full floor‑care tasks; removing and compacting trash; completing light maintenance such as changing bulbs; and keeping entryways clear of snow and debris. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, and comfortable working long hours in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. + **Work Location:** Remote Camp, North Slope, Alaska + **Rotational Schedule:** 3 weeks on/3 weeks off + **Work shifts:** 12 hours/day (40 hrs straight time + 44 hrs OT per work week). + **Travel:** Flights between Anchorage and the job site are arranged and paid for by the company + **Housing & Meals:** Included (free) + **Point of hire:** Anchorage, AK **JOB DUTIES** + Clean hallways, stairways, offices, food preparation and break areas, kitchen areas and equipment, laundry rooms, living areas, work areas, off-site areas, common areas, restrooms, public areas, and other similar areas + Dust both low and high areas and wipe down/clean various surfaces + Sweep, mop, scrubs, strip, extract, wax, buff, vacuum, etc. all types of floors + Removes and transports and compacts trash to the appropriate disposal areas + Change light bulbs and perform light facility maintenance + Keep building entryways free of snow and debris + Operate a vehicle to work at remote locations + Follow proper DUS safety precautions and wear the correct PPE for the task + Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner + Willingness to perform other duties as required + Willingness to work at various locations as required **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Must be at least 18 years of age + High school diploma or equivalent + Previous janitorial experience + Valid driver’s license and clean driving record + Able to proficiently speak, read, understand and write English + Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical requirements + Must meet criminal history and background requirements **WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONS** + Work is performed indoors in a remote camp setting + Ability to remain on your feet for long shifts and perform repetitive physical tasks, including walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting. + Must be comfortable living and working in a remote location with shared housing accommodations and communal facilities + Teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential + Strict adherence to safety, work procedures, and conduct standards **WHAT WE OFFER** + Competitive wages and lots of overtime due to the 12-hour shift schedule + Benefits: medical, dental & vision; 401(k) with company match, life insurance, and other + Half a year off!
