Apply Today Job Summary and Qualifications Orders food and maintains inventory level for patient and staff meals u00b7 Prepares and portions food according to menu u00b7 Monitors quality and temperature of food u00b7 Maintains clean and orderly workstation u00b7 Maintains documentation as requested or required u00b7 Stores food and equipment according to guidelines u00b7 Prepares special diets accurately u00b7 Assures quality and timelines of food service u00b7 Assures patient needs for nourishment are met u00b7 Documents temperatures, patient meals and meal tickets u00b7 Adheres to hospital polices and procedures u00b7 Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct u00b7 Conduct reflects the Companyu2019s values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct u00b7 Performs other duties as requested or required QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to read and write, must have basic knowledge of modified diets and patient serving line process and follow menus, verbal and written instructions and be able to cook for large volumes 425 meals a day. Must have 2 or more years of hospital cooking experience.
