Our Care Management division supports patient-centered care through care coordination, complex care management and helping address health-related social needs.Founded in 1999, Essen provides care in all five boroughs of New York City, with a primary focus in the Bronx.Reporting to: C-Arm TechnicianJob Summary: The C-Arm Tech performs radiographic exams for physicians or will assist providers using a C-ARM. This employee is responsible for safely demonstrating proficiency in patient care skills, superior knowledge of radiography and has compassion for those he or she assists. The employee will take pride and ownership in their duties by checking equipment daily for leaks or spills and any issues which may present safety concerns.Operate C-ARM fluoroscopy machines to capture high-quality images during various medical procedures, including surgeries and interventional radiologyCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the positioning of the C-ARM for optimal image acquisitionAdjust imaging parameters such as exposure settings, contrast, and resolution to obtain clear and diagnostic imagesEnsure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols, including the use of lead aprons and shieldsPerform routine maintenance and quality control checks on C-ARM equipment to ensure proper functioningTroubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs when neededMaintain accurate patient records, including procedure documentation and image archivingPrevious experience as a technician in a related field (e.g., electronics, automotive, medical)Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipmentStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid state licenseBronx: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)C-Arm: 1 year (Required)$65-$70 an hrESSEN HEALTH CARE IS PROUD TO BE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYEREssen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.
