Job Description

We are growing! We are looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join our team. This individual will report to the General Counsel and Secretary and assist the Law Department in many facets of corporate law. Responsibilities include entity formation and qualifications, leading strategic and tactical corporate legal initiatives related to the corporate structure, review lease agreements, research requirements and renew business licenses in multiple jurisdictions, maintain a database of current licenses, and assisting with managing and ensuring compliance of the Company in general and other duties as assigned.Responsibilities: Entity formation and dissolutionEntity foreign qualifications and DBAsObtain tax identification numbersPrepare W-9sRespond to insurance providers regarding requests for W-9sResearch jurisdictional business licensing requirementsObtain and renew business licenses in multiple jurisdictionsMaintain a database of all business licensesObtain signatures and appropriately file and update the tracking for any equity related documentsProject managementLiaison between the Company and third parties such as registered agents and law firmsAssist with administrative tasks associated with the business such as presentations, file organization, gathering information and processing mail related to legal matters.Qualifications:Minimum five (5) years experience of legal support experience in a corporate environment or law office.
