Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Pacoima, California. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, with a strong background in financial processes, accounting systems, and compliance. As this is a long-term contract position, the selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting operational efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial reports. u2022 Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to maintain smooth financial transactions. u2022 Maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and reconciliations. u2022 Perform general ledger accounting tasks, such as account reconciliations and journal entries. u2022 Conduct balance sheet and profit and loss analyses during month-end close. u2022 Support system testing and data validation to align processes with organizational requirements. u2022 Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and applicable standards. u2022 Prepare detailed process flowcharts and accounting procedures for systems in use, including SAP S/4HANA and legacy platforms. u2022 Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits to ensure transparency and accuracy. u2022 Provide expertise in aligning financial practices with organizational goals and systems. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting. u2022 Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation. u2022 Experience with financial statement audits and compliance standards. u2022 Skilled in journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records. u2022 Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. u2022 Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data effectively. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
