Description We are looking for an experienced healthcare finance specialist to lead and oversee the accounting operations of our organization. This role is ideal for a skilled leader with a strong background in financial management and supervisory experience who thrives in a dynamic environment. The Director of Accounting / Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead and manage the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. u2022 Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements. u2022 Implement and monitor accounting processes using tools such as BlackLine, Workday ERP, and Workday Financial Management. u2022 Coordinate and support financial audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all reporting. u2022 Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and maintaining high performance. u2022 Ensure compliance with healthcare industry financial regulations and standards. u2022 Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency and financial decision-making. u2022 Manage and optimize payroll processes using systems like UKG Pro. u2022 Drive improvements in financial reporting systems and processes to align with organizational goals. The salary range for this position is $156,000 to $249,000 + discretionary bonus. Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision 401k with match 20 days PTO 6 paid holidays Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. u2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred. u2022 At least 5 years of experience in accounting roles, including leadership positions. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience managing accounting teams. u2022 Proven expertise in month-end close processes and financial audits. u2022 Familiarity with healthcare industry financial standards and reporting. u2022 Hands-on experience with accounting software like Workday ERP, Workday Financial Management, and BlackLine. u2022 Strong analytical skills and ability to provide actionable financial insights.
