Job Type: Temp-to-hire Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly and production processes within a dynamic manufacturing facility. Your expertise in mechanical systems, hand and power tools, and warehouse operations will ensure efficient production workflows and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will possess factory experience, mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations. Duties + Operate and maintain various manufacturing equipment, including forklifts and power tools, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times. + Assist with assembly line tasks by assembling components accurately according to specifications. + Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance. + Support warehouse activities such as inventory management, material handling, and order fulfillment. + Follow safety protocols diligently while handling machinery, tools, and materials in the manufacturing environment. + Collaborate with team members on production tasks to meet daily output goals. + Document production activities and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions promptly. Qualifications + Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred. + Proven ability to operate power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively. + Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. + Experience working on assembly lines or in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. + Strong warehouse experience including inventory management and material handling. + Familiarity with manufacturing processes and safety standards. + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
