Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a unionized foundry facility in Albertville, AL. This direct placement role offers competitive union-based pay and excellent growth opportunities within the company. The facility specializes in metal melting, casting molds, and painting operations. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the equipment and machinery. Responsibilities + Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on foundry equipment. + Maintain and repair machinery used in melting, casting, and painting processes. + Work safely in a non-climate-controlled, high-heat, and dirty environment. + Respond to breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance. Essential Skills + Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. + Comfortable working at heights and in hot, dirty environments. + Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced industrial setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in multicraft maintenance, including electrical maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with welding, roller, conveyor system, gearboxes, switches, and 480-volt systems. + Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, 3-phase repair, PLC troubleshooting, motors, drives, and heat pumps. Shifts are available Monday to Friday with options of 2nd shift (3:00 PM u2013 11:30 PM), and 3rd shift (11:00 PM u2013 7:30 AM). Personal protective equipment is provided, except for steel-toe boots, which are required. The role requires working in a fast-paced industrial setting where safety is a priority.
