The Front End Software Engineer will execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the e-commerce and product-led growth applications.You enjoy fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where you can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools. You collaborate well with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions.You will also help the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggesting ways to make the team more effective, and mentoring and modeling engineering best practices.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Engineering.ResponsibilityCreate high-quality, user-focused experiences with React or NodeLead the discovery phase of major projects, ensuring the design aligns with business goals and technical requirementsHelp build and design the new Micro Frontend (MFE) infrastructureBe actively involved with building and maintaining our new component libraryCommunicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, conducting research to identify emerging tools and methodologiesRaise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitmentsBe available to diagnose and resolve production-impacting issues and maintain the code as neededJob DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What you bringBasicBS degree in CS or equivalent work experienceExperience coding and design in React, Node and ExpressJs using TypeScript12+ years of in software engineering building single-page applicationsExperience building Micro-frontendsExperience with Javascript/TypeScript, frameworks such as React and working with React Router and ReduxExperience using Git or other version control systemsPreferredExcellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests in a complex and fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of user authentication and authorizationProficiency in building REST, GraphQL APIsPassion for learning and working with new technologiesStrong understanding of designExperience leading distributed teams including offshoreProduct development experience building large scale web applicationsExperience designing and developing highly scalable
