Job Description As an Inventory Control Associate at the Exchange, you will support staff by maintaining appropriate inventory levels to keep our stores fully stocked and remove any excess product. Your position is critical to the daily operations of the store and you will work with management to determine any problem areas. This is a highly independent position, requiring being proactive and having the initiative to tackle tough issues. Follow all safety guidelines and operating procedures Deliver extraordinary customer experience by engaging customers and prioritizing customer needs over tasks Listen to customer needs; ask appropriate follow-up questions to ensure you offer appropriate products that meet the specific need of the customer Able to use computer software to order a variety of items, including customer orders, vendor orders, rain checks, and emergency orders Monitor inventory to include merchandise turnover, cyclical counts, promotional items, and slow moving items We know that you can work anywhere. IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE CLERICAL KNOWLEDGE AND STRONG VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS. PREFERRED CANDIDATE WILL BE SELF MOTIVATED, DEPENDABLE AND ABLE TO MULTITASK. BASIC MATH IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS CRITICAL FOR PERFORMANCE DUTIES. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE WITH ASAP ORDERING u0026RECEIVING PROGRAM. IN ORDER TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES, THE CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 50LBS, STAND FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME, BEND, REACH, STOOP AND SQUAT.
