Job Description

​PURPOSE STATEMENT:Seven Hills Hospital is a growing, private, 134-bed psychiatric hospital that is dedicated to providing high-quality care for adults, geriatrics, and adolescents (ages 5-17) who are suffering from behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Our patients recover at our new, state-of-the art medical facility in the Seven Hills area of Henderson, Nevada. Henderson is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and is located just 7 miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip and a couple of miles from beautiful Lake Mead.Seven Hills Hospital is part of the Acadia Healthcare, a provider of behavioral healthcare services throughout the US.​Plan, organize and supervise the facility’s financial support function(s), to ensure industry standards, as well as company policy and procedures are followed.​ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:​Responsible for the complete flow of the business functions of the department(s) including proper recording of payments, changes and write-offs, proper methods of collections, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial documents and reporting.​Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.​Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. ​Resolve difficult issues and complaints originating from any internal or external source. ​Responsible for implementing departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal statues, hospital and accrediting agency regulations. ​Maintain knowledge of payer-specific rules and regulations regarding billing and payment for facility and professional services. ​Check accuracy of business transactions recorded by others. ​Manage department financial operations.​Analyze financial records or reports to determine state of operations and to improve financial management.​Prepare financial documents, reports or budgets, as directed.​Monitor flow of cash or other resources. ​OTHER FUNCTIONS: ​Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.​EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:​Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field required. ​Four or more years’ related experience/knowledge of managed care, commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid required. ​​LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: ​Not ApplicableWe are committed toprovidingequalemploymentopportunitiestoall applicantsforemploymentregardlessofanindividual’scharacteristicsprotected byapplicable state,federalandlocallaws.SEVHL
