There’s a reason HUNTER is recognized as one of PRWeek’s Best Place To Work and has been named PRovoke “Consumer Agency of the Year” not once, but twice: At HUNTER, we EARN IT — consumer attention, the trust and loyalty of clients, and the dedication of our staff, currently 350+ strong and counting.Account Coordinator plays an integral role in the execution of client projects and programs, including gathering information and compiling reports; conducting media relations/social media relations activities; collecting and reporting results; and, researching feasibility of program ideas and tactics.Work with team members to implement client PR/social projectsDevelop timelines and manage deadlinesAdvise team members on developments; proactively update the team on statusDetermine the need for support staff assistance for projects/program elements and manage support staff during executionAssist with execution of client press events and serve as a representative of the client and agency on-siteCoordinate and set-up meetings, product shipments, product inventory, team/client files, etc.Attend client calls and meetings, as determined by a supervisorConduct traditional and social media relations outreachDemonstrate an understanding of the media landscape, including social media, and how to use these to drive brand awareness and engagement for clientsCreate media lists, develop editorial calendars, engage with reporters and bloggers, secure media placementsBuild relationships with traditional and social media contacts on behalf of the agency and clientsMonitor program results and compile media coverage reportsResearch ideas for client programs to determine feasibilityParticipate in agency brainstorm sessions for client programsBegin to develop strategic/creative thinking skillsActively participate in agency committees or departments as designated/askedParticipate in agency projects and eventsAssist in compilation of awards presentationsAssist with research for new business and business renewal opportunities, as directed by a supervisorDevelop and foster relationships with suppliersAbility to:Manage multiple projects across multiple accountsPrioritize work, meet deadlines and actively communicate progress and deliverables (i.e. time management)Learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced work environmentWork from the company’s offices in New York City; travel in and around the city (including the outer boroughs and suburbs) to complete tasksTravel to client and event locations; meet with clients at their office locations/headquartersAccurately record time worked and paid time-off in the timeclock and timesheet systemsDemonstrate solid writing and interpersonal communication skillsShow integrity and good judgment when working with colleagues and clientsB.A. in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or the likeUp to one (1) year of experience in a public relations agency/digital agency or similar positionProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is $23.00-25.00 dollars per hour.
