Why is this Respiratory Therapist role different This location offers a highly stable, long-tenured team with strong collaboration and consistent operations. You will support a growing patient census while working with a dependable, supportive branch culture. Key highlights + Work Arrangement: On-site with rotating on-call duties. + Hours: 8:30 AM u2013 5:00 PM. + Relocation assistance may be available. + Growing branch adding staff due to rising patient census. Salary range + $30 u2013 $32 per hour OnCall transparency + Rotating on-call every 3 weeks; flexibility needed for occasional weekend coverage. What youu2019ll do + Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and followu2011ups + Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance + Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately + Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs + Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams + Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop + Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation + Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition + Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs + Performs other duties as required What we look for + Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active MI RT license + Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 u2013 50 lbs. + Valid driver's license + Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation Education + Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations + Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy + Hold a current CPR Certification + Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
