This role is critical to ensuring seamless supply chain operations by supervising daily logistics activities and driving efficiency across procurement, materials movement, and distribution. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a proven ability to optimize workflows, and experience in managing cost-effective, compliant processes that meet customer requirements. By fostering collaboration and continuous improvement, this position directly supports operational excellence and strategic supply chain goals. What You'll Do: Responsible for supervising daily supply chain and logistics activities while coordinating materials movement, procurement processes, and distribution tasks. Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of domestic and international materials and service distribution. u00b7 Supports development and implementation of logistical processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established procedures. u00b7 Overseas assigned staff in executing supply chain tasks such as purchase order processing, receiving, distribution, and inventory management. Ensure operational activities are carried out in a cost-effective manner and aligned with customer requirements. u00b7 Communicate with internal and external business partners to support efficient delivery of goods and services. u00b7 Monitors workflow, reviews staff progress, and escalates obstacles as needed. u00b7 Provides input on provider evaluations with consideration for cost, quality, and reliability. u00b7 Assists with process evaluations, development of alternatives, and improvement opportunities. u00b7 Supports execution of Supply Chain strategies and helps ensure targets, due dates, and operational commitments are met. Education & Credentials: Bacheloru2019s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field; or a combination of post-high school education and equal experience may be substituted for education. Experience: 3 - 5 years related experience in supply chain logistics, procurement or related field. Competencies:Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external business partners. Ability to supervise supply chain staff and support the evaluation of process effectiveness and development of changes or alternatives. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Ability to mentor, coach, train and guide employees. Ability to review workflow, monitor performance, and support routine financial or operational analysis. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to identify problems, review related information, and help develop and implement solutions. Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, budgeting and administrative management. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word. Other: Ability to travel and work long hours when necessary. Job Scope: Position impacts multiple business units/segments. Working Conditions: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
