What you will be doing Supervise staff in the manager'sabsence and train new team members. Provide quality beveragesconsistently for all customers, preparing Starbucks beverages tostandard. Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area. Followstandards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing allproducts. Ascertain guest satisfaction; in the event of dissatisfaction,tactfully negotiate an accommodation. Comply with accounting guidelinesregarding receipt of payments, cash drawer and house bank management.Balance house bank at the end of the shift. Perform any general cleaningtasks using standard outlet cleaning products as assigned by supervisorto adhere to health standards. What we are looking for Previous Baristaexperience is required. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings,weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure. Must be ableto learn all menu items and up-selling techniques. Basic mathematicalskills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, count totalbank, prepare cash drops, and total all other charges. Ability toeffectively resolve conflict situations, such as inaccurate check total.Ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand menus andspecial promotions, and communicate with guests.
