Job Title: RF Engineering ManagerJob Location: Topsfield, MA (100% onsite)Salary: $150,000-$185,000/yr DOEResponsibleforoverallcoordinationofefforts,includingmakingjobassignmentsforRFEngineering personnel and keeping applicable executive(s) informed as to personnel requirements.Maintainsa workingliaisonwith personnel assignedto otherportions of theprojectas required forproper coordination of RF Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning and Test resources.ResponsibleforthereviewandapprovalofallRFEngineeringdesign.Contributesheavilytothedesignapproachandtotheingenuityemployed,asneeded.ResponsibleforthepreparationandsubmissionofEstimatestoComplete(ETC),statusreportsandtechnical reports on assigned projects on a timely basis.Ensuresthatallstages oftheprojectareproperlydocumentedbyreports,drawing,photographs,etc.,as applicable, to ensure reimbursement for works accomplished and to safeguard proprietary rights.Upon request, prepares estimates for work to be performed in the department. Reviews estimates prepared by subordinates.Preparesschedulesforworkandensuresthatallcommitmentsaremetontime.Drivesthegrowthofthe Company through improvements in processes, procedures and capital equipment acquisitions.Managescostswithinallocatedbudgetlimitsandinformsapplicableexecutiveastocostsincurredonprojects.Bachelor'sDegreeinElectricalEngineering(BSEE)orequivalentandaminimumof9yearspriorRF microwavedesignanddevelopmentexperience.Master'sdegreeandaminimumof7years priorRF microwave design and development experience.ProficiencyusingRF / EMsimulationsoftware, ADS,HFSSor equivalents.Proficiencygeneratingschematics,PCBlayout,andhands-onexperienceevaluating,testing,tuning,and modifying circuits to meet specifications.Proficiencyusingtestequipmentsuchasnetworkanalyzers,spectrumanalyzers,powermeters,oscilloscopes.Costpoint,ERPsystems,MicrosoftOfficeproficiencyPREFERREDADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:Highpowercontrolcomponentdesignandhands-onexperiencewithbothpackagedsurfacemount components and bare die.ExperiencewithAutoCAD,andPADSisaplus.FamiliaritywithEMI/EMCtestingperMIL-STD-461isaplus.Experiencewithcircuitsoperatingupto40GHzisaplus.AbilitytoobtainSecretSecurityClearance.Stellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
