We put the unity in 'opportunity.'Opportunity Snapshot:Compensation: $62-75.00/hourLocation: Midland, TXAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: 8/6 Rotation, 10+ hours per dayBenefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), holidays and PTOJourneyman License requiredInspect all electrical terminations and report concerns to the project execution leadVerify motor rotations and incoming voltage phase rotationsfor all motors on skidTroubleshoot control circuits and assist with commissioning‑stage diagnosticsVerify proper adjustment and operation of all key interlocks prior to energizationConduct pre‑task safety briefings and ensure safe work executionEnergize transformers, MCCs, and medium‑voltage drives used for large electric compressionGather and review cable test documentationCollect and record drive, compressor, and motor performance data into commissioning spreadsheetsParticipate in PSSR meetings and highlight incomplete punch‑list itemsActive Journeyman Electrical License requiredStrong control‑circuit knowledge and troubleshooting skillsAbility to coordinate with global project teams, drive OEMs, compressor OEMs, and site electrical/automation teamsStrong understanding of safety protocols for high‑energy electrical and mechanical systemsPreferred experience with medium‑voltage systems (1,000-35,000 V), large‑horsepower electric compression equipment, and low‑ or medium‑voltage drives (480-4160 V)Powerline experienceCompression systems (lift gas or similar) experience a plusAutomation or programming experience desiredHigh School diploma or GED requiredThe Bergaila Way:The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry.
