Job Description

Our Accounts Payable (AP) team enters and routes a high volume of vendor invoices for an array of business expenses, working with internal departments and vendors to ensure accuracy and timely payments. The team processes expense reports by reviewing charges and confirming adherence to company policies. As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be an integral part of operational processes that affect firm-wide projects and goals. The Opportunity:An Accounts Payable Associate delivers excellent client service by providing a holistic view of the Accounts Payable process. You will safeguard tangible and intangible assets through internal controls and risk mitigation. You will be one of the last lines of defense, playing an essential role in ensuring we pay in the right way, at the right time, to the right people. As part of the Accounts Payable Team, you will increase your functional and technical abilities and learn to manage complexity. You will report to the AP Team Leader who will support your career goals through training and skill development. We are excited for you to join us and make a difference within our group and our firm!The Day-to-Day: Manage expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and allocating invoices to the correct accounts and cost centersAudit employee expense reports by reviewing expense coding and ensure expenses are following policyRespond to inquiries and requests from vendors and internal departments for any AP related mattersReview business transactions and enter journal entriesPerform monthly credit card account reconciliationsHelp with month end close activitiesHelp with audits and other ad hoc projectsYour Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience1-2 years Accounts Payable experienceCommitment to maintain quality of work while sticking to a timelineExcel at both quantitative and qualitative analysisProficiency in excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)Compensation:$55,000 - $70,000 base salary per year in the state of WA.
