Job Title: Brine Maker Helper Job Description Join our team as a Brine Maker Helper where you will assist in the crucial process of making brine used in preserving maraschino cherries. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities + Open the plant in the morning, turning on lights and water. + Conduct daily testing of the brine and waste water. + Pull monthly water samples for testing. + Assist in loading and unloading tanks and ponds. + Set up brine lines efficiently. + Maintain accurate record keeping including chemical and raw material inventory. + Monitor ponds, tanks, and totes to protect company assets. + Ensure cleanliness of work areas. + Assist other departments during slow periods. Essential Skills + Experience with forklift operations. + Ability to perform basic math calculations. + Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. + Strong organizational skills. + Commitment to working safely and effectively. + Good communication skills. The role involves a significant amount of walking across 67 ponds and a large manufacturing facility. You will work both independently and alongside the brine maker.
