Junior Network EngineerLocationUS-OH-CincinnatiID2026-4099CategoryIT / Cyber Security / Network SystemsPosition TypeFull-TimeRemoteNoClearance RequiredSecretOverviewLooking for a mission Junior-Level Network Engineer with an active DoD Secret Clearance and Security+ certification to join our team at AMERICAN SYSTEMS You will provide critical engineering and operational support to National Priority programs.ResponsibilitiesSupport Network sustainability at Air Control Squadron Blue Ash in Cincinnati, OH to support network modernization stall, configure, cut over, test, and validate Cisco, Avaya, and Juniperbased network solutions, including routers, switches, and security appliances.Collaborate with base personnel to isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues.Ensure full and accurate cutover of missioncritical network functionality.Update engineering documentation, diagrams, and site reports to produce complete and accurate asbuilt packages.QualificationsActive DoD Secret security clearanceU.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearanceExperience with general Network OS, routing/switching platforms, and security appliances.Bachelors Degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and years of relevant experienceSecurity+ certification requiredDemonstrated experience conducting network equipment installations and cutovers.Networking certifications to include at least one of the following: Cisco CCNA, Avaya ASTA, Juniper JNCIA (current).Willingness to support a 24/7 shift rotation environmentWillingness to travel when required (CONUS)Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners.
