This role focuses on system hardening, secure architecture, and advanced troubleshooting while partnering closely with IT operations to strengthen the company's overall security posture.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage enterprise security technologies including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, endpoint protection, SIEM integrations, and vulnerability management toolsEngineer and maintain secure configurations for Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, SQL, and Citrix environmentsDevelop automation and orchestration scripts (PowerShell, Python, or similar) to improve detection, response, and remediation workflowsConfigure and administer network and cloud security controls such as firewalls, VPNs, conditional access, and zero-trust policiesConduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with IT and business teamsLead incident response investigations requiring advanced system and network analysisCollaborate with System Administrator teams to enforce secure build standards and patch management processesEvaluate, test, and deploy new security technologies to strengthen enterprise protectionProvide expertise in security architecture and system design reviewsSupport the technical components of compliance initiatives (PCI, SOC 2, NIST)Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including firewalls, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, and cloud security toolsProficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or PythonFamiliarity with security frameworks and regulations (PCI DSS, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR)Experience supporting compliance audits and working with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) toolsUnderstanding of threat detection, adversary tactics (TTPs), and incident response practicesExpertise in secure network, application, and infrastructure architectureStrong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365 environmentsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on scheduleExcellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teamsAbility to work both independently and within a fast-paced team environmentRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in IT infrastructureAt least 3 years focused on cybersecurity engineeringPreferred QualificationsIndustry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or Microsoft security certificationsExperi
