The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Technology and Innovation Division seeks to hire a Quality Assurance Analyst. The selected candidate will develop and execute exploratory and/or automated tests to ensure the product quality of DDC developed software solutions. Under the direction of Senior Project Management staff, and with latitude for independent initiative and judgment the QA Analyst will collaborate with the developer teams and business units, in designing comprehensive test plans and test cases. Additional duties include monitoring debugging process results and defining corrective actions; reviewing specifications and technical design documents and providing timely and meaningful feedback. The QA Analyst will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics; conduct tests before product launch to ensure software solutions run smoothly and meet the requirements; monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system errors and code discrepancies.
