Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our client's team in the Bensalem, Pennsylvania area. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in accounting and financial management within manufacturing environments. The Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating accurate financial reports. u2022 Produce comprehensive financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. u2022 Manage and monitor cash flow to optimize liquidity and working capital. u2022 Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for financial improvement. u2022 Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice processing and collections. u2022 Collaborate with external auditors and tax specialists to support audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations. u2022 Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and uphold regulatory standards. u2022 Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff, fostering detail-oriented growth and efficiency within the team. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. u2022 At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. u2022 Proven experience managing and leading teams in a detail-oriented environment. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments. u2022 Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights. u2022 Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
