Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk in Middlesex County, NJ. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, data entry and more. If you have 1+ years of accounting experience and are looking to grow your career, this might be the opportunity for you Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions. u2022 Code invoices and accounts appropriately for accurate financial reporting. u2022 Manage vendor communications to address inquiries and maintain strong relationships. u2022 Maintain and update weekly Excel logs to track financial activities. u2022 Support month-end and year-end close activities by preparing reports and verifying account balances. Requirements u2022 1+ years of experience in an accounting related field. u2022 Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. u2022 Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for maintaining logs and financial records. u2022 Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service. u2022 Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
