STAFF ACCOUNTANTIn-Office PositionAlbany, NY Fusco Personnel is searching for a motivated early-career accounting professional to join our clients finance team. The Staff Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including financial tracking for funded programs, donor-related accounts, and general ledger activities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with financial data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the organizations financial operations in a collaborative environment. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline Up to two years of accounting experience preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Experience with enterprise financial systems is helpful; exposure to Workday is a plus Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting Responsibilities Record transactions between affiliated entities as required Process recurring staff-related payments within designated systems Complete routine monthly account reconciliations Review allocation methods to ensure costs are distributed appropriately Participate in periodic inventory counts Assist with documentation requests during internal or external audits Prepare accrual entries and assist with month-end closing activities Salary: $55-70k Fusco Personnel takes great pride in successfully matching talent and culture for our valued clients.
