Job DescriptionServes as a member of the HR team, with the responsibility for conducting prompt and thorough investigations into employee allegations or misconduct or violations of the company's policies including but not limited to claims of discrimination, harassment, bullying, workplace violence, work performance concerns or other violations of rules, regulations, policies and procedures. The main objective of this position is to ensure that the organizations treatment of employees is fair, respectful and consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of Kaleida Health. The Sr. HR Investigator will be responsible for reviewing complaints and planning, and conducting and communicating results of investigations into alleged misconduct across all levels of the organization The investigator will serves a neutral fact finder to conduct investigations in a thorough and objective manner to provide recommendations. The Sr. HR Investigator will partner with the VP Labor & Employment Counsel to investigate third party agency claims such as but not limited to EEOC, NYS Division of Human Rights, NLRB charges, etc. as needed. They will partner with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team and compliance on issues for investigation. The Sr. HR Investigator will act as a business partner for the Corporate Departments based out of the Larkin Building as well as remote leaders to assist in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated service lines. This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver valued-added service to management and employees. Provides advice and consultation to management on HR related issues.Education And CredentialsBS or BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, Criminal Justice or other related field. In lieu of Bachelor's Degree must have 10 years of experience in leading and conducting internal investigations. Law Degree or Master's degree in related field may substitute for year for year work experience.Experience5 years of experience leading and conducting internal investigations in corporations, government, military, educational institutions, etc. required.
