BRUSH Power Generation enhances Baker Hughes portfolio of electromechanical equipment, including electric generators, synchronous condensers, electric motors, and associated control power management systems.Partner with the bestAs an Assembly Operator you will develop and deliver programs to train and ensure competency of channel personnel, Baker Hughes employees, and customers (end users) on the assembly, testing and servicing of Flow Control & Safety Solutions products.As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for:Set up and installation of generator rotors, including 2-pole and 4-pole rotor preparations, as well as installation of fans, ventilation rings, slip rings, and exciter assemblies.Executing preparatory activities such as cleaning threads and contact surfaces, assembling internal components, bearing shields, exciter units, noise barriers, coolers, and mechanical parts of generators.Performing dimensional measurements and electrical insulation resistance tests during assembly, ensuring proper alignment and operation of oil and water distribution systems within the test room.Assembling and securing special components such as rotor couplings and fan blades, while adhering to work, health and safety, and quality procedures, including environmental protection standards.Handling installation and maintenance tasks in balancing tunnels, ensuring correct seating in bearings, connection to drives, and pre-balancing procedures.Preparing the workplace efficiently and comply with regulatory standards throughout all assembly and testing operations.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawingsAttention to detail and diligence with an eye for qualityHold a valid Passport and the ability to travel internationallyHave good interpersonal skills, inclusive working style and able to effectively communicateDesirable skills/experienceKnowledge of Power Generation / Rotating equipmentHave a High School Diploma, GED or Vocational qualification in a mechanical or electrical disciplineHave experience in mechanical assembly with basic electrical experience and trainingWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too. In this role, we can offer the following flexible working patterns: Two-shift schedules, including rotational night shiftsComprehensive training for this role will be conducted in Pilsen, Czech Republic, lasting six weeks.
