Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled AP/AR Accountant to join our team in Redmond, Washington. This role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth operations within accounts payable and receivable processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in bookkeeping and accounting systems, with a strong focus on detail and efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Reconcile credit card transactions to ensure financial accuracy. u2022 Perform regular bank reconciliations to align company accounts with financial institutions. u2022 Generate and distribute customer invoices promptly and accurately. u2022 Monitor and apply customer payments while addressing overdue accounts to maintain cash flow. u2022 Respond to inquiries from vendors and customers with professionalism and clarity. u2022 Maintain comprehensive records for vendor and customer accounts. u2022 Process accounts payable invoices and manage payments in a timely manner. u2022 Evaluate accounts receivable and payable reports to identify discrepancies and trends. u2022 Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations. u2022 Provide documentation and support for audits conducted internally or externally. The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. Benefits: M/D/V Life insurance 401k with match 2 weeks POT 6 paid holidays Requirements u2022 Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop for managing AP and AR functions. u2022 Intermediate expertise in Excel, including data analysis and reporting. u2022 Strong familiarity with Office Suite, including Word and Outlook. u2022 Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. u2022 Proven problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Experience in payroll or bilingual Spanish communication is a plus. u2022 Knowledge of bookkeeping practices within the construction industry is preferred.
