As a Heavy Equipment Operator, Laborer or Lead Operatoryou will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day maintenance functions that keep the park running smoothly.Job Summary:The Engineering/Maintenance team is responsible for opening properties prior to guest arrival, maintenance and repair during the season and closing properties at the end of the season. Heavy Equipment Operators (requires Class A CDL) are responsible for operating heavy equipment, snow removal, operating electric and hand tools. QualificationsHeavy Equipment Lead Operator LeadProficient in supervising personnel in accordance with all Xanterra policies and procedures.Proficient in the knowledge about the operation and safety with heavy equipment, tractor-trailers, bobcats, snow blowers and other tools and equipment common to the trade.General knowledge of domestic utility repair work, i.e. water, sewer, electrical.General knowledge of placing concrete and asphalt patching.General knowledge of staining, i.e. bumper log finishing.Must be at least 21 years old and possess a current, valid, Class A CDL license with a good driving record.
