Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting is working with an industry leading construction company seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. In this role, you will be handling the daily transactional accounting activity for the organization as well as providing daily/weekly/monthly reports for the Owner. 5+ years of small business Bookkeeping is required The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a meticulous approach, making them essential to maintaining the company's financial health. This role will require 100% in office collaboration. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts receivable processes, including payment applications, aging reports, and draw submissions. u2022 Oversee all full-cycle accounts payable operations. u2022 Prepare client account statements to ensure accurate reporting. u2022 Coordinate payroll submissions and manual timesheet reporting, ensuring compliance. u2022 Handle NTO's, lien releases and various other project related milestone documents. u2022 Submit COI's to municipalities and GC's, ensuring compliance standards are met. u2022 Conduct insurance and workers' compensation audits, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and timely. u2022 Prepare and issue 1099 forms for subcontractors. u2022 Support the outside CPA with year-end filings by providing general ledger schedules, journal entries and other supporting documents. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 7 years of experience of relevant bookkeeping. u2022 Bachelor's degree preferred. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. u2022 Construction industry a plus but not required. u2022 Must be responsible, reliable with a proactive attitude. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new things quickly.
