Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Warrenville, Illinois. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization by managing essential accounting functions and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess strong organizational skills to handle a variety of accounting tasks effectively. Responsibilities: u2022 Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. u2022 Prepare accurate financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, on a timely basis. u2022 Support month-end and year-end closing processes by completing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. u2022 Conduct internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. u2022 Assist in the development and analysis of annual budgets and financial forecasts. u2022 Maintain precise documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury functions to ensure data accuracy. u2022 Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. u2022 Work closely with team members and stakeholders to address accounting-related inquiries and improve processes. u2022 Ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations, including preparation of tax returns and sales tax filings.
