The Barback assists Bartenders by restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring our guests receive fast, efficient service in a high-volume, high-energy environment with stunning skyline views. Essential Duties and Responsibilities u2022 Stock and replenish bar inventory includes liquor, mixers, glassware, ice, and garnishes.u2022 Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas. u2022 Assist bartenders during service by clearing used glassware and preparing garnishes. u2022 Anticipate bartender & guest needs throughout the shift.u2022 Remove trash and recycle throughout shift and at close. u2022 Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. u2022 Report timely to work and prepare to start at the starting time. Know your work area and set up as directed.u2022 Set up, breakdown, stock, restock portable bars for events.u2022 Prep cold food items served at bar(s).u2022 Pick up cold food items from kitchen/prep areas and deliver to the bar(s).u2022 Abide by the operating standards outlined in the policy and procedure manual.u2022 Support the bar team during busy periods and special events. u2022 Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from Management as needed. Skills and Abilities:u2022 Strong organizational and multitasking skills. u2022 Positive attitude and a strong sense of urgency. u2022 Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards.u2022 Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.u2022 Must be able to read, speak and write English Language to communicate with guests and coworkers. u2022 Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. u2022 Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.u2022 Flexible availability includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
