What Does A Cabinetry and Home Renovation Designer Do? + ?ufe0f Own the Design Process: Lead cabinetry and home renovation projects from concept to completion. Use 2020 Design Live or similar software to develop layout plans, renderings, and product recommendations based on customer inputs, measurements, and needs. + ? Be the Technical Expert: Educate customers on cabinetry construction types (framed vs. frameless), materials (MDF, plywood, solid wood), finishes (painted, stained, laminated), and specialty features (soft-close hinges, pull-outs, and more). + Deliver Personalized Consultations: Whether it's in-store, virtual, or in-home, you'll meet customers where they are. You'll listen deeply, learn their style and renovation goals, and recommend functional, beautiful solutions tailored to their timeline and budget. + ? Connect the Dots from Start to Finish: Develop floor plans, mood boards, 3D visuals, and complete product packages. Familiarity with CRM/POS systems (like Salesforce) helps too. + Sales Know-How: Youu2019ve got a track record of meeting or beating your sales goalsu2014and you know how to build trust while selling big ideas and beautiful designs. + Flexible Schedule: Retail hours mean nights, weekends, and holidays.
