Provide social services and assistance to improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families and to maximize the family well-being and the academic functioning of children. May assist parents, arrange adoptions, and find foster homes for abandoned or abused children. In schools, they address such problems as teenage pregnancy, misbehavior, and truancy. May also advise teachers.We are hiring full-time and part-time Youth Care Professionals to join our team Nexus Family Healing is a national nonprofit network of mental health agencies with over 50 years of restoring hope for thousands of children and families through outpatient/community mental health services, foster care and adoption, and residential treatment. We have a variety of full-time residential counselor positions available throughout our Residential Treatment Center and our Diagnostic program. The residential treatment center offers emotional, behavioral, mental health, and sexually problematic behavior programs. The short-term (90-day) diagnostic (DETP) program serves male, female, and transgender youth who have been commercially sexually exploited.
