They are responsible for engaging their team during a shift to optimize safety, production, cost, and quality while maintaining a positive employee experience. Managers are leaders who exhibit empathy and compassion for associates in all of their actions, ready to help in any situation, make tools available, remove obstacles for associates to excel in their roles. What Youu2019ll Do: + Actively run shifts with safety, quality, production, and cost at the forefront of all decision making. + Enforce safety guidelines, cleanliness, and security standards. + Implement weekly schedules and manage labor budgets. + Establish and meet KPIs. + Maintain strong working knowledge of processes and policies. + Focus on team and department growth and development. + Recruit, screen, and select talent at Process Assistant, Associate, and Team Lead levels. + Communicate feedback to improve the operation and employee experience. + Execute and present quarterly projects that meaningfully improve the business. + Partner cross-functionally and interdepartmentally to solve issues. + Lead teams through change and embrace continuous improvement. + Be patient, have strong communication skills, and the capability of giving and receiving effective feedback, including disciplinary action conversations. + Design, implement, and monitor continuous improvement processes for the team. + Oversee overall productivity of the department and workflow. + Be the primary point of contact for a team of Associates and Team Leads. + Be comfortable speaking in front of groups of all sizes. + Partner with Trainers and Team Leads to develop, maintain, and apply learning tools. + Maintain ownership and accountability for Team Leads and their execution. + Communicate cross-departmentally.
