Job Description

Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll/HR Administrator to join our team in Canandaigua, New York. In this role, you will oversee payroll processes for multiple entities and provide essential HR support. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in payroll and a passion for ensuring accurate and efficient operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage weekly payroll processing for approximately 75-90 employees across multiple entities, including union-based staff. u2022 Handle certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements for union employees, coordinating with Procore for reporting. u2022 Administer truck allowances and travel pay for employees working on out-of-town projects. u2022 Maintain payroll data accuracy by reviewing hours entered through ProCore by project managers. u2022 Process year-end bonuses and ensure compliance with payroll deadlines. u2022 Generate offer letters and assist with basic HR tasks such as recruiting and employee relations. u2022 Collaborate with HR Works to address outsourced HR needs and maintain compliance. u2022 Communicate payroll and HR updates effectively to relevant stakeholders. u2022 Provide support for discretionary profit-sharing and 401(k) plan administration. u2022 Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in payroll and HR functions. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration. u2022 Familiarity with construction industry payroll processes, including union and certified payroll, is highly preferred. u2022 Proficiency with Paylocity software is a strong advantage. u2022 Experience handling multi-state payroll operations. u2022 Knowledge of HR practices, including generating offer letters and addressing employee relations. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday with flexible hours.
